PRESS RELEASE:

BROWNSVILLE, July 2011-- The Brownsville Historical Association invites the public to the newest exhibit at the Historic Alonso Building, Fired Up! featuring the work of local artist Julian Rodriguez. The exhibit features never before displayed ceramic pieces.

The exhibit opens Saturday, August 6 at 6:30 p.m at the Historic Alonso Building at 510 E. Saint Charles Street. This exhibit opening and reception is free to the public and the exhibit will run through August 31.

Julian Rodriguez is a native South Texan and has exhibited his works across the Valley.

For more information about this exhibit, contact the BHA at the Alonso Building at 956-554-4965 or visit us at www.brownsvillehistory.org. The Historic Alonso Building is located at 510 E. Saint Charles Street and is managed by the Brownsville Historical Association. Visitation hours for this exhibit are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
