I’m in the process of renovating three small bungalows ( freestanding) on my property in San Benito (603 Morelos at Diaz) . They will be ready for occupancy in a month or so.
In my mind’s eye I would like artists to occupy them ( either as a residence or studio) and develop an arts colony in the neighborhood. They are around 350sf ( small bathroom, kitchen, closet and one room- 15’x16’) . They would be good for one or two people. If you know of any artists who would be interested I would be willing to work with them on cost.
Presently, I’m thinking of renting them for $400 per month including utilities.
I believe bringing an artistic energy into the neighborhood with enrich it and help rejuvenate it.
