In the long run, if " The community of artists / painters " were truly functioning in a healthy capacity, whether on a local, regional,or national level- artists would be exchanging information and banding together to change the many basic inequities in the business of doing art. Unfortunatelly, a fear of scarcity and envy has created a lack of a sense of community among artists.
A fear largely responsible for why artists / painters feel isolated from one another!.
Most of the structural changes in the art world will come about only through artists / painters pressure, artist initiative, and artist participation. While the prospects of radically changing the art world might seem overwhelming to any one artist, one of the most important contibutions that an artist can make is to provide opinions, suggestions, and advice on how to make it happen.
... Not really, look for the true message !!!
